The Guidance components of eSD® NexGen contain those modules and functions typically associated with the Master Schedule Development, Student Course Requesting, Career Planning, Mass and Walk-up Student Scheduling, Student Schedule Management, and Graduation Requirements Tracking.
All modules within the Guidance fully integrate with all other Administrative and Classroom components of eSD® NexGen so as to provide a 'roles based' user experience that optimizes time, space, instructional resources, and people to more effectively and efficiently leverage District resources. Counselors can easily interact with Teachers and Parents and turn requests and recommendations into Student specific course requests.
Intuitive and powerful scheduling tools allow Schedule developers (working in one year) to easily adjust and eliminate conflicts for the next year master schedules as student counts and resources go up / down.
Through the use of the eSPTM Portals all District stakeholders, including Parents and Students, can proactively participate in the Course Request, Guidance, and Career Planning process for all Students.
PDA and Smartphone support allows Counselors, Teachers, and Administrators 'real time' access to Student schedules (and where the student is supposed to be) anywhere and at anytime.
