Our Client Integration stage is a proven, systematic program of activities which are proactively managed by both eSD® and your school district. Together, we assure that your district successfully implements the eSD® Student Management System.
Key Integration Activities include:
- An Engagement and Project Kickoff Meeting: The eSD Project Management Team is introduced to your district team.
- Planning Meetings: A series of meetings with all district stakeholders to further our understanding of your Goals, Objectives, Business Strategies, Critical Processes, Technology Infrastructure and Readiness for Change.
- Policy and Planning Review Sessions: eSD® conducts a number of planning sessions and interviews to identify current practices and desired outcomes. We then offer Best Practice recommendations for configuration and deployment.
- Risk Assessment: Project risks are identified so that they can be proactively managed and resolved throughout the implementation.
- Process Re-engineering: eSD® identifies Best Practices, Desired Outcomes and New Processes which are then implemented for both system configuration and training materials development.
- Data Migration: All current and historical SIS data is validated and migrated from the existing legacy system. By migrating the data during this phase, training can take place using current district data.
- Implementation and Setup: At this time, eSD® configures, implements and tests the system using the district’s own current data for all modules.
- User Training: Every key stakeholder is trained on each component of the system using a 'Train the Trainer' model. This highly successful method teaches personnel in key positions how to effectively teach others to use the system.
- Evaluation is the last major phase of the project. All defined project tasks have been completed, goals have been implemented and new processes have been developed. At that time, the project is jointly reviewed and you, the client, eagerly take ownership of the system.
