Client Integration
Client Integration refers to a proven systemic continuum of implementation activities that are pro-actively managed by the eSD® / District to assure that the client gets the most out of their Student Information System implementation. This methodology and implementation framework has been specifically designed to meet the unique implementation needs of K-12 Districts and provide the required oversight to assure project success. Key activities included in this continuum are:
- Engagement and Project Kickoff Meeting where the project management team is identified and meetings are held with all District Stakeholders to further understand the clients Goals, Objectives, Business Strategies, Critical Processes, Technology Infrastructure, and Readiness for Change.
- Policy and Planning Review Sessions where eSD® will conduct numerous planning sessions and interviews to identify current practices and desired outcomes that will be utilized, along with 'Best Practice' recommendations from eSD® to configure and deploy the system.
- Risk Assessment is where (and throughout the entire implementation life cycle) Project Risks are identified so that they can be proactively managed and resolved throughout the implementation.
- Process Re-engineering identifies those Best Practices, Desired Outcomes, and New Processes are identified, implemented, and deployed for system configuration and training materials development.
- Data Migration is the phase where all current and historical SIS data is migrated and validated from the existing legacy system. By migrating the data during this phase it assures that user trainings will occur on current validated district data.
- Implementation & Setup configures, implements, and tests with current data in all implemented modules.
- User Training is where all key stakeholders are trained using a 'Train the Trainer' model on the new functionality of the system as well as the assumptions utilized during the configuration of each component of the system.
- Evaluation is the last major phase of the project where all defined project tasks have been completed, goals implemented, new processes developed, the project has been jointly reviewed, and the client has accepted the system.
