K-12 educational leaders from across New York State are attending the eSD Enterprise Leadership forum this week to discuss methods for using advances in Student Management Systems and the critical data they provide to reduce costs and improve efficiencies in today’s tough economic times.
The conference, being held January 14-16 at the Marriot Marquis in New York City, features sessions and round table discussions covering Government Reporting, Data driven decision making, Implementing SIF (student interoperability framework), and “Going Green” in Schools. Keynote presentation will be given by Erica Beasley, DBA from the Briarcliff Manor School District. In October 2008, Briarcliff Manor was one of three districts recognized nationwide by the Center for Digital Education and the National School Boards Association for Technology Innovation and Know-how.
