John R. Riconda
Founder and CEO
John Riconda began his career with Contemporary Computer Services Inc. (CCSI) as an IBM mainframe technical specialist in 1979. He became a partner in 1985, and after leading the mainframe division he was named President & CEO in 1996. Since then, Mr. Riconda has been responsible for creating and building two new CCSI business units: CCSI's Networking Division and the Application Development Division. Due to the success of both divisions, CCSI was named a Cisco Gold Partner in 2001 and attained Microsoft Gold Partner Certification specializing in Enterprise Systems in 2002.
Under his steadfast and visionary leadership, CCSI has grown from a local service company into a nationally recognized network management and systems integration firm of more than 100 employees with offices in three states. CCSI’s focus is on corporate, government and educational clients, offering a comprehensive 24x7x365 level of service.
Mr. Riconda has been a member of Cisco Systems' VAR Council for a number of years, and was a founding member of Microsoft's Educational Partner Advisory Council. He has received numerous leadership awards and was most recently honored by the Suffolk County Organization of Public Educators, the New York State Council of School Superintendents, and the National Leadership Council for his commitment to public education. Mr. Riconda also finds time to serve on the Board of Directors at Huntington Hospital, NY.
Ann M. Savino
Founder and Executive Vice President
In 1982, Ann Savino entered the tech world as an Applications Design Specialist. Her unique combination of software industry experience and real-world involvement as a school board trustee intuitively led her to recognize the serious need for a comprehensive student management system. She believed that eSD® should be developed to meet that need and was instrumental in determining its future as a revolutionary educational tool.
As a result, upon presentation of the eSchoolData Student Management System to the U.S. Department of Education, the company received a Congressional Award for extraordinary work in the field of educational technology. eSD® was originally a division of CCSI and became so successful that it launched as an independent corporation under Ms Savino’s direction in 2009.
Ms Savino is a widely recognized educational technology authority and has been published across the industry. Her article outlining common pitfalls in technology implementations appeared in The American School Board Journal. She has been a featured speaker at the National School Board Association (NSBA), the New York State School Board Association (NYSSBA), the Suffolk County Organization of Professional Educators (SCOPE), Adelphi University, Hofstra University and New York University. In addition, she is the recipient of the New York State Council of School Administrators Leadership Award and the American Legion Spirit of America Award. Her educational advocacy includes:
- U.S. Department of Education, Principal Investigator
- Bay Shore Board of Education Member
- Eastern Suffolk BOCES Board Member
